The biggest gimmick of the "technological innovation" is, in essence, totally dangerous and unnecessary. Those suicide doors from the 50s and 60s and Gullwing doors, were banned on safety grounds. And we now have clean energy vehicles, which are supposed to be efficient, with so much secondary energy consumed that it is ridiculous. Make cars simple and efficient. You are not going to live in the car! It is not a house! Or just ditch the EV system and go back to an ICE engine, as no one clearly cares about the environment or safety!
