You could have used a single sentence to say you don't have one pedal driving… It actually does increase the normal amount of regen in my vehicle at least all the way down to 5mph, then a reverse torque is applied as it's too slow for regen.

Also the whole hovering over the brake is a bit much, it's the same as letting off the throttle on a normal car. If your expecting to accelerate you will hover over the throttle, if not you'll be over the brakes.

Europeans will know the pain of turning off broken lane departure warnings, speed warning, and setting the less efficient driving mode already.

As long as regen is under 0.4G most drivers will need to use the brakes regularly and won't lose the instinct.

People not having their foot over the brake pedal while braking means that they will not be able to instantly adjust to brake harder if needed. It is a gimmick to show off regen, but it does not necessarily increase regen and still uses the friction brakes to come to a complete stop. But it does keep people's foot off the brake pedal while slowing down, which increases the potential for accidents.
