If the semi-solid-state is as I think it is, the speed of charging and pack size could trump any cost-per-kWh issue. For the battery pack, it could be much smaller than more fluid-based systems (70kWh as a default size? I think it's going to be smaller physically). Plus Solid State is touted to charge faster – but we'll know more at the official debut.

Even the latest LFP have better density. That said I hope this vehicle at least reaches customers unlike say IM L6 lightyear which was launched with all the fanfare but still have not seen customer reviews.

It would only be a gain if the cost is still lower than regular NMC already available on the market due to it's use of LFP chemistry. Currently, it is said that LFP goes for ~$45/kWh while NMC is ~$60/kWh.
