They are not serious about RHD markets. They still have the turn indicator stalks on the left?!?!? Would Chinese consumers accept turn indicator stalks on the right? No, so it is pure insult not to have the stalks on the right side for RHD markets. BYD does not insult us.

This new one, I'll wait for the full specs, battery size, FWD v RWD and pricing, but so far its underwhelming. The existing MG4 is already on a price discount and its only March. The MGS5 EV looks more interesting than this. And if the aim is the Chinese market, well their tastes are different from the West esp with tech, alerts, and a distinct lack of buttons, hence why the S5 EV has extra buttons in the Western version, though I'd like to be able to uninstall Ticktok!
Time will tell…

For higher sales to meet demand eventually in the U.S. SAIC need to consider building 2 seater sports cars as a halo model in England.
There is still a large residual fondness for a traditional 2 seater in the States and Europe. The union flag on the body is still a requisite sales tool.
