I do not agree. When Tesla offered its Model 3 and Y in Europe with hundreds of horse power, european brands release 150 or 204 hp. Look at Renault / Stellantis / VW power: too low numbers. So we need chinese cars with x10 power to hope also the other brands start producing fast cars. If Zeekr 001 FR will be sold in Europa with 2000 hp, then also Alfa Romeo, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Lexus and the other brands will offer at least 500 hp cars at a good price.

Just now, only Hyundai N are a fun and good alternative to thousand-hp chinese cars.

2000bhp, then what 3000bhp? 10000bhp?For what purpose? Are these making the roads safer if someone decides to do something funny or unable to handle it? How often do one need such bhp and fast acceleration? To compete with airplanes taking off at the airport?

The direction these makers are going are simply out of practicality. Long range and fast charging make sense because they suit daily practical use and serve their purpose.
