I think the answer is yes.
Chang'an, the group, traces its origin way back to the self-strengthening movement, in the wake of the Opium Wars and the Taiping Rebellion, of the 19th century.
But within the now wildly advancing auto industry, this seasoned enterprise is still trying to shed its back country affiliation.
FAW and SAW (Dongfeng), and of course SAIC, are much younger.
